January IDOT letting funds projects throughout Local 150 jurisdiction

On January 31, the Illinois Department of Transportation held a letting, which included the following large jobs in Local 150’s jurisdiction, in addition to others of various size around the state:

  • $74 million – Reconstruction of the intersection I-55 and Lake Shore Drive including outbound structures, retaining walls, and lighting in Chicago.
  • $57 million – Reconstruction and improvement on IL 7/159th St. in Homer Glen, Lockport, and Orland Park.
  • $47 million – Reconstruction, lane adage, and improvement in Orland Park.
  • $46 million – Interchange construction at I-57 and 6000n in Bourbonnais.
  • $33 million – 19 miles of pavement patching and resurfacing on I-39 from Lee County border to Baxter Rd.
  • $21 million – Reconstruction on US 30 including adding lanes, drainage improvements, and traffic signal modernization over Lily Creek in Plainfield.
  • $17 million – Reconstruction, resurfacing, and improvements in McHenry.
  • $11.5 million – Resurfacing on US 41 from I-90 to IL 21 in Gurnee and Wadsworth.
  • $9.5 million – Intersection reconstruction, resurfacing, traffic signal improvements, and more in West Chicago.
  • $9 million – Widening and rehabilitation on I-55 at US 6 in Channahon.
  • $8.5 million – Intersection reconstruction on US 30 at Dugan Rd. in Sugar Grove.
  • $5.5 million – Resurfacing on IL 21 from Glenview to Harts Roads in Niles and Glenview.
  • $5 million – Intersection reconstruction for US 20 at Allen/Brier Hill Rd. in Kane County.
  • $5 million – Resurfacing on IL 83 from Dixie Hwy. to Torrence Ave in Dixmoor, Harvey, South Holland, Dolton, and Calumet City.
  • $5 million – Resurfacing on US 12 from Arlington Heights Rd. to IL 58 in Arlington Heights, Mt. Prospect, and Des Plaines.
  • $4.7 million – Structure removal and construction on Warrenville Rd. over DuPage River in Warrenville.
  • $4 million – Resurfacing on US 12/IL 53 from Lake County Line to Arlington Heights Rd. in Palatine and Arlington Heights.
  • $3.5 million – Roadway reconstruction on Madison Street in Forest Park.
  • $3.5 million – Reconstruction from Devon to Thorndale Avenues in Elk Grove.
  • $2 million – Reconstruction on FAU Route 3870 and FAU Route 118 in Lakewood.
  • $2 million – Roadway reconstruction and widening on Overhill Ave. from Foster to Lawrence Avenues in Norridge.
  • $2 million – Intersection improvement on IL 394 at Sauk Trail in Sauk Village.
  • $2 million – Traffic signal modernization and roadway channelization in Matteson.
  • $2 million – Resurfacing on East End Ave. from 26th to 30th Streets in Chicago Heights.
  • $2 million – Resurfacing on IL 31 from Middle Rd. to Wildrose Springs Dr. in St. Charles and Elgin.
  • $1.7 million – Bridge replacement on Four Lakes Ave. over DuPage River and intersection reconstruction in Lisle.
  • $1.5 million – Resurfacing on IL 113 from Gray Rd. to Kankakee County Line in Custer Township.
  • $1.3 million – Sidewalk, curb and gutter, and other removal from Forest Ave. to Albert St. in Mt. Prospect.
  • $1.1 million – Roadway lig5hting installation and sidewalk replacement from Northgate Parkway to US 45/IL 21 in Wheeling.
  • $1.1 million – Surface, curb and gutter removal and other improvements and installations on FAU Route 2745 in Zion.
  • $950 thousand – Cleaning and painting steel structure carrying US 30 over Des Plaines River in Joliet.
  • $940 thousand – Pedestrian path construction in Northlake.
  • $800 thousand – HMA overlay with placement of aggregate shoulders from CH 9 to IL Route 92 in Bureau County.
  • $800 thousand – Removal, installation, and construction of pavement, sidewalks, and curbs and gutters in Bourbonnais.
  • $600 thousand – Sidewalk, curb and gutter, driveway, and other removal and replacement on IL 78 in Warren.
  • $600 thousand – Excavation, construction, and removal in Dwight.
