Prevailing Wage Survey

Members who work on state-funded projects earn prevailing wage and benefit rates, which are set by the Illinois Department of Labor. Prevailing wages have been targeted by Governor Rauner for reduction or elimination, and we need your help to ensure that wage rates remain accurate.

We are gathering data on what members earned working on public projects and submitting it to the Department of Labor, so if you are working on a public project (road, school, infrastructure), we need your help!

Starting on June 1, please report the date, contractor, county, project name, hours worked, and the equipment operated.

To report your information, you can fill out the form below with between 1-5 days of data or call our toll-free number at 1-855-WORK-150 (between 8am-5pm)
